What is a Home Inspection?

A Home Inspection is an objective, visual non-destructive examination of the systems and structure of a home, from roof to foundation. Having a home inspection is similar to getting a physical checkup. If a problem or system is discovered, the inspector may recommend further evaluation.

Every home is different and has its own unique characteristics. Unfortunately, each home may also have problems and defects. This is when a trained eye provides the knowledge you desire in a home inspector.

The ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) standards of practice and code of ethics are the strictest guidelines in the home inspection industry. Adhering to these values allows us to offer a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Our goal is to present the most proficient and detailed report for our client. Sample reports and references are available upon request.

Why a licensed home inspector?

The real estate industry has a growing need for Licensed Home Inspectors. Many people are being asked to perform Home Inspections without proper training, certification, or guidelines. Even many real estate professionals are not aware of everything required to make a quality Home Inspection.

Home buyers, sellers, lenders, employee relocation companies and governmental agencies, etc., are seeking full and total service from a Home Inspector. Buyers use Home Inspectors to know the true condition of the home. Sellers use Home Inspectors to avoid liability and lenders require a Home Inspection before approving a loan.
